Terms & Conditions
Thank you for registering for the United Shalom Pentecostal Church Liverpool Teens & Youth Retreat 2026 – “Set Apart”.
These Terms & Conditions are intended to ensure a safe, enjoyable and well-organised retreat for every participant. By submitting the registration form, participants (or parents/guardians where applicable) confirm that they have read, understood and agree to the following.
1. Registration
- Registration is only confirmed once the completed registration form has been submitted.
- All information provided must be accurate and kept up to date.
- Participants under 18 years of age must have parental or guardian consent.
2. Attendance
- Participants are expected to attend the retreat for its full duration unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Please arrive on time to avoid disruption to scheduled sessions.
- Participants should treat leaders, volunteers and fellow attendees with courtesy and respect at all times.
3. Conduct & Behaviour
- This is a Christian retreat centred on worship, fellowship and biblical teaching.
- Participants are expected to demonstrate respectful behaviour throughout the event.
- Bullying, abusive language, discrimination, violence, smoking, alcohol, vaping, illegal substances or any behaviour that compromises the safety or wellbeing of others will not be tolerated.
- The organisers reserve the right to ask any participant to leave the retreat if their behaviour is considered inappropriate or unsafe.
4. Health & Medical Information
- Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies or additional support requirements during registration.
- Medication should remain the responsibility of the participant unless otherwise agreed with the organisers.
- In the event of illness or injury, basic first aid may be administered and emergency medical assistance sought where necessary.
5. Photography & Media
- Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the retreat for church publications, presentations, website and social media.
- Media will only be used in accordance with the participant’s consent provided during registration.
- Participants who do not provide consent will be respected and excluded from intentional promotional photography wherever reasonably possible.
6. Personal Belongings
- Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings.
- The church cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal items.
- Valuable items should be left at home wherever possible.
7. Privacy
- Personal information collected through registration will only be used for organising and administering the retreat.
- Your information will not be sold or shared with third parties except where required by law or in the event of a medical emergency.
8. Cancellation
- If you are unable to attend after registering, please notify the organisers as soon as possible so that arrangements can be updated.
- The organisers reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the programme where necessary.
9. Agreement
- Submitting the registration form confirms that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
- You agree to comply with the guidance of the retreat leaders throughout the event.
